You might be here because something has felt off lately. Maybe you are navigating one of the most challenging seasons you have ever faced, or you are feeling stuck, unsure how to process a challenge or a loss that nobody around you seems to fully understand. For a lot of us, the environments we have spent countless hours in have taught us that staying quiet and pushing through is the only option. But there comes a point where that version of yourself no longer feels like the real one. And now, instead of simply surviving, you are seeking something more: meaning, connection, and the freedom to show up as your true self.

I draw from person-centered and motivational interviewing approaches, meeting each client where they are without judgment or a predetermined agenda. Having spent years inside competitive athletic environments across multiple levels, I understand the culture, the unspoken expectations, and what it often costs someone in this world to finally reach out. My belief is that rather than bottling things up because confronting them feels "unnecessary," the reality is that embracing this confrontation process is where one's most meaningful growth and self-discovery takes place.

My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely safe and welcome to show up as they are, and where the courage and bravery of doing so is honored. The exploration belongs to the client, and my role is to follow their lead, help them find their footing, and trust that they are the expert on their own life. In a session with me, all you need to show up with is your true self as it exists right at that moment. I work alongside you, rather than above you, toward a life that feels more intentional, more connected, and more like your own.

Experience - I am a M.S. Candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, with a clinical focus on men's mental health, grief, life transitions, confidence building, loneliness, and the unique pressures faced by athletes, coaches, and performers. My athletic background is in baseball, where I competed at the collegiate level before moving into coaching and player development roles across all three NCAA divisions, and have worked with athletes ranging from youth to the professional level. I have also served as a youth care counselor for houseless adolescents and young adults in Oregon, an experience that has given me a deep appreciation for the role in which environment, identity, and belonging play in a person's wellbeing.

My theoretical foundation also prioritizes acceptance and commitment, and my broader clinical interests pull from mindfulness-based and existential frameworks, alongside psychodynamic thought and Eastern philosophy. Questions of meaning, identity, and conscious, mindful living run through my work whether the presenting concern is performance, recovery, a major life transition, or simply figuring out what comes next. I am particularly drawn to working with men who have never felt permission to struggle out loud, and with athletes and coaches navigating the identity shifts that come when the role they have built their life around begins to change.
